EXPERIENCE
Kelly McKendrick is the Custody Sales and Relationship Manager at Alta Trust Company, where he supports the growth of the firm’s custody business through consultative sales and high-touch relationship management. His work is focused on building trusted partnerships with advisors and partners, while helping Alta expand and operationalize its custody services. In his role, Kelly splits time between business development and the hands-on work required to build a custody unit. He works with software providers, contracts, operational workflows, and product development initiatives to support a smooth onboarding and service experience.
Kelly brings a broad financial services background spanning banking, lending, advisor channels, and custody growth. He has helped build custody businesses from early stages to multi-billion dollar platforms, contributing across business development, technology partnership coordination, and project execution. He is known for a practical, relationship-driven style and for embracing the complexity of custody work, approaching new scenarios with curiosity, strong follow-through, and a focus on doing things the right way.
Away from the office, Kelly is a devoted husband and father of four. He has been married for more than two decades and enjoys the outdoors, especially skiing, time in the mountains, and family travel.
