Together, we have launched the Foundation Series Collective Investment Trusts (CITs), a lineup of six standardized, multi-manager portfolios designed to help expand access to professionally managed retirement portfolios for plans of all sizes.
The Foundation Series was built with a clear goal: help accelerate the industry’s shift toward scalable personalization by reducing adoption barriers and standardizing the building blocks used within Morningstar’s managed accounts framework.
For advisors and plan sponsors, that means a more streamlined path to implementing professionally managed solutions at scale. The series is designed to reduce implementation friction for recordkeepers and work within existing platforms, including stable value.
Alta Trust serves as trustee, CIT sponsor, and administrator, and Morningstar Retirement leads portfolio design, fund curation, and ongoing oversight.
