As firms scale, leaders want to delegate, but hesitate when delegation leads to inconsistent judgment, unexpected outcomes, or increased risk. Too often, authority is handed off without clarity, and decisions either get escalated back up or made inconsistently.

In this session, the founding CEO of Riskalyze (now Nitrogen), Aaron Klein, shares a practical delegation framework that helps leaders intentionally transfer decision authority, improve judgment over time, and protect standards as responsibility moves deeper into the firm.

This session focuses on delegating decisions, not just tasks, to improve quality rather than increase risk.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Decide when to delegate and how much authority to give
  • Use a clear delegation brief to set context, constraints, and success criteria
  • Delegate outcomes so decision quality improves over time
  • Apply the five levels of decision-making, from “tell me” to “inform me.”
